   Upon arrival in the city of Cartago, the former Capital of Costa Rica, you will see the impressive Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels, built in honor of the Virgin of Los Angeles, patron saint of Catholic Costa Ricans and a site of interest for all pilgrims who gather mainly every August 1st in a religious festival very dear to the Ticos. Additionally you can visit the Holy Waters fountain.

   Upon arrival at Paraíso de Cartago, a small town, but with a great human quality, we will give you an exquisite lunch to recharge your batteries and continue the journey.

   We will visit one of the oldest churches in Costa Rica built in 1767 by Franciscan friars, and declared a historical-architectural heritage in 1920 and declared a National Monument in 1985.
